Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you for visiting Jonny Melon Adventure Travel Blog!
My ultimate goal with this blog is to provide you with useful destination guides, quality recommendations, and the best travel advice that enables you to get outdoors and explore this wonderful earth, too!
The content on this site is FREE for everyone and I will never ask for a donation, annoy you with pop-ups, or require you to subscribe to anything.
However, the best way you can help support the site is by using my referral links to book your hotels, flights, travel insurance, tours, experiences, products, and other travel-related purchases.
When making a purchase through one of my links, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. In fact, you will pay exactly the same amount as if you had visited the site directly and the commission I receive from my partners comes out of their pockets, not yours.
Although the commissions are small, they are a big help to keep the site up and running. It’s a win-win for you, my partners, and me too!
The resources below are ones that I personally use and recommend which will ultimately save you hours of research trying to find the best deals. Rest assured, I only promote products and services that are high quality and bring the most value to my readers!
Kindly bookmark this page so that when you’re planning your next trip, you have all the links here in one place to book a cheap hotel, find the best flight deals, search for tours, and much more.

BOOK YOUR ACCOMMODATION
Booking accommodation online in advance is an essential part of your trip planning. It’s important to book a place to stay before you arrive at a new destination.
These are my go-to websites to find the best deals on hostels, hotels, and resorts when traveling.
Booking.com is the most popular hotel booking website with tons on offer, from hostels to hotels, and luxurious resorts.
You’ll also be eligible for discounts on stays when you become a Genius member.
Agoda is a great online booking platform for finding deals on hotels worldwide.
Whether you’re looking for a budget-friendly option or something more luxurious, Agoda will help you find your dream hotel.
Hostelworld is the world’s largest online hostel booking platform, with thousands of properties in numerous countries.
They offer various options for all types of travelers, from budget backpackers to those who want private rooms at a great price.
Hotels.com is an excellent website with a huge selection of properties on offer and you can always find a good deal.
They also offer 1 night free when you book 10 nights. It’s the perfect plan if you wish to extend your stay.
FIND CHEAP FLIGHTS
Flights are a big chunk of your budget when traveling and saving money on airfares where possible definitely helps.
These are the sites I use and recommend to search, compare, and book cheap flights.
Skyscanner is my go-to website to book flights. It allows you to scan all airlines and platforms to find the cheapest airfares.
If you are flexible with your travel dates, select your origin and destination and then search ‘whole month’. This way you can fly on the cheapest possible date.
CheapOair is a similar flight booking platform to Skyscanner. It allows you to compare and book cheap flights with over 600 airlines.
Generally, when searching for flights, I will compare the prices on both Skyscanner and CheapOair and go with the cheapest airfare possible.
Kiwi.com is one of the best online flight booking platforms when searching for cheap airfares.
Not only can you search an entire continent, but you can also select different destinations to find the lowest rates for the whole route.
Google, the biggest search engine in the world, also has a feature to search for cheap flights.
Google Flights is a great tool to zero in on the best flight prices. You can search almost all carriers and book directly with the airline.
SEARCH TOURS & EXPERIENCES
Booking tours, experiences, and day trips online in advance can often be the best option. It’ll make your travels easier and stress-free rather than trying to book something last minute.
These are the tour booking sites I swear by and frequently use myself.
Viator is one of the best tour booking platforms and you’ll find pretty much any tour, landmark, and attraction.
Entrance tickets with a discounted price, a day trip to a hidden spot, you name it, they have it!
Get Your Guide is another popular tour booking platform with tons of tours all around the world.
Search for tours in the mountains of Vietnam, hop around Europe in the summer, go on a road trip across America, and much more!
While Klook offers great tours all around the world, they specialize in the Oceania region.
Whether you’re on a trip to Australia, backpacking in Bali, or vacationing in Japan, you’ll be sure to find the best deals on Klook!
Travel Talk Tours is my go-to travel company to book multi-day tours and group trips.
I’ve personally traveled to Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, and Turkey with Travel Talk Tours and can’t recommend them enough!
BOOK YOUR TRANSPORTATION
When you arrive at a new destination, organizing transportation and figuring out how to get from A to B can often be a challenge.
These are the most reputable transportation booking platforms that will make your travels easier.
Bookaway is by far one of the best platforms to compare and easily book buses, ferries, trains, or private transfers all over the world.
Often I have found the prices on Bookaway to be cheaper than booking direct!
In places where public transportation is limited, renting a car is the only option to get around to see all the sites.
Rentalcars.com is my go-to for finding the best deals on rental cars worldwide.
12GO Asia is the best platform to purchase tickets for buses, trains, boats, and even flights when backpacking in Southeast Asia.
You can book everything from the platform and most importantly, keep all your bookings and tickets in the same place.
When planning a trip to Europe, traveling by train is the most common and most affordable way to get around.
Eurail is the main railway network across all of Europe. Purchasing a Eurail Pass and planning your route couldn’t be easier!
Travel insurance is a must-have when going on a trip overseas or even when traveling in your home country. I guarantee it’ll save you thousands if something goes wrong.
These are the travel insurance providers I always use and recommend.
World Nomads is one of the best travel insurance providers on the market.
With affordable plans, they cover everything including stolen credit cards or passports, medical emergencies, lost baggage, and more.
SafetyWing is another one of the most trusted providers to purchase travel insurance.
SafetyWing prides itself on being the best travel and medical insurance for Nomads and all for just $40 per month!
TRAVEL GEAR & ACCESSORIES
No matter where you’re heading, having the right travel gear and accessories is necessary to make sure your travels go smoothly.
I religiously always turn to Amazon to search and purchase everything I need.
Amazon is an online store that has absolutely everything you need for a trip. You can order products from your phone or laptop and get them dispatched the same day.
From tech accessories to travel gear to medicines and more – you can’t go wrong with Amazon!
