The most famous beach on Panglao Island is without a doubt Alona Beach, however, if you are looking for an uncrowded and untouched beach I highly recommend checking out the beautiful white sands of Panglao Beach.
I have put together this complete guide to Panglao Beach including where it’s located, how to get there, and what to expect when you arrive.

BEST TOURS IN BOHOL
WHAT TO EXPECT AT PANGLAO BEACH BOHOL
The 200 meters long beach is small but very dreamlike. Fringed with coconut palms and turquoise waters, this is hands down one of the best beaches in Bohol.
The only beachfront hotel is the famous and luxury Mithi Resort & Spa which also hosts a small island in front of their shores serving as a wedding ceremony spot.
The little island can be reached by strolling in waist-deep water and from here you’ll be able to enjoy sweeping views of the coastline.

During our visit, we were greeted by some friendly locals who were enjoying their karaoke session in a small hut along the beach. They didn’t seem to be disturbed by our presence and we enjoyed the background music as we were relaxing on the shoreline.
We didn’t come across one single tourist which made the visit to this untouched paradise even more worth it.
The best time to visit is during high tide and it’s also a great location to watch the sunset in Panglao.
This is one of the most tranquil and relaxing beaches in Panglao and well worth adding to your Bohol itinerary.
