The best way to get to Bohol Panglao Beach is to rent a scooter from one of the many scooter rental stores located around the Alona Beach area.
Scooter rentals are around 300 – 350 Pesos ($5 – $6) per day with a full tank of gas.
Alternatively, you can jump in the back of a tricycle and ask the driver to drop you over to this incredible beach in Panglao.
For a 20-minute drive in a tricycle, you can expect to pay around 100 – 150 Pesos ($1.70 – $2.50). Put your bartering skills to the test!

The 200-meter-long Panglao Bohol Beach is small but very dreamlike!
Fringed with coconut palms and turquoise waters, this is hands down one of the best beaches in Panglao Bohol.
The only beachfront hotel is the famous and luxurious Mithi Resort & Spa which also hosts a small island in front of their shores serving as a dinner spot.
The little island can be reached by strolling in waist-deep water and from here you’ll be able to enjoy sweeping views of the coastline.
During our visit, we were greeted by some friendly locals who were enjoying their karaoke session in a small hut along the beach, very typical when visiting the Philippines!
They didn’t seem to be disturbed by our presence, and we enjoyed the background music as we were exploring Panglao Bohol Beach.
We didn’t come across one single tourist, which made the visit to this untouched paradise even more worth it.
The best time to visit is during high tide, and it’s also a great location to watch the sunset in Panglao.
This is one of the most tranquil and best beaches in Panglao that is well worth adding to your Bohol itinerary.
