Pacifico Beach In Siargao – A Complete Guide

Pacifico Beach Siargao is a cruisey surf town with white sand beaches, tropical palm trees, and world-class surf breaks on the northeastern tip of Siargao Island.

I highly recommend making the drive away from the popular tourist hub, General Luna, and enjoying some peace and quiet in this tropical paradise in Siargao’s north.

I have put together this complete guide to Pacifico Beach including how to get there, where to stay and what to expect when you arrive.

Pacifico Beach is located on the north-eastern coastline of Siargao Island.

It’s approximately a 1-hour drive from the main tourist hub of General Luna to reach Pacifico and if you follow the Siargao Circumferential Rd, I guarantee you won’t get lost.

One of the most common ways to get here is on a scooter. The cost for a scooter rental in General Luna is around 300-400 pesos per day, or for a monthly rental, you’ll get a cheaper rate of around 200-300 pesos per day.

Most accommodations will be more than happy to help you to organize a scooter rental for the time you plan to spend on Siargao Island.

Have you got travel insurance for your trip?!

Safety Wing Insurance

We all know accidents can happen and having SafetyWing Insurance will save you thousands of dollars if something goes wrong.

SafetyWing offers low-cost Travel Medical Insurance to keep you covered on all your adventures.

In my opinion, you don’t want to go directly to Pacifico as there are a few awesome locations worth stopping at along the way.

If you leave early enough from General Luna you can make a big adventure day out of it.

See the list below for a one-day Siargao itinerary of things to see and do along the way.

A sleepy surf town nestled beneath a coconut palm tree rainforest is ultimately what you can expect when you arrive. This small coastal town in Siargao’s north is the perfect place to surf, eat, sleep, and repeat!

Pacifico Beach is one of the best Siargao surf spots on the island. Many surfers flock here to surf the world-class reef breaks just a short paddle out from the shoreline.

There are a small handful of surf breaks all within a couple of minutes’ walk from each other. Take your pick of left-hand or right-hand waves that are best surfed on mid to low tides.

General Luna is the place to be when searching for the best places to stay in Siargao!

There are hundreds of accommodation options to choose from, so I have narrowed it down to a few of the best places to stay to fit the needs of luxury, mid-range, and budget travelers.

Nay Palad Hideaway offers the most luxurious, all-inclusive island resort that you may be seeking, with choices of a sea view room, a garden view room, or a luxurious villa.

Features include an outdoor swimming pool, a private palm tree-fringed beach, an in-house restaurant, a games room with billiards and table tennis, and more!

Guests can also make use of the complimentary paddleboards, surfboards, kayaks, and bicycles, and even jump on board an island-hopping tour.

Ferra Resort Siargao is popular among most travelers visiting the island due to the prime beachfront location at an affordable price!

Features include well-kept gardens, a private beach area, and BBQ facilities, and all beachside bungalows have air conditioning and a balcony.

It’s the perfect place to stay for couples, friends, or families on a mid-range budget.

Mad Monkey is the most popular hostel in Siargao, centrally located in General Luna. It’s just a 7-minute walk from the famous Cloud 9 surf break and other nearby attractions.

The hostel features a tiki-themed bar, a restaurant, and a swimming pool, and the dorm rooms have air conditioning and free Wi-Fi for all guests.

For backpackers, solo travelers, and surfers on a budget, this is the place for you!
