Mango Viewpoint Koh Tao is rated as one of the best viewpoints on the island, especially at sunset!
Located high in the hills on Koh Tao Island, Mango Viewpoint is a great spot to spend a couple of hours chilling in a hammock, reading a book, playing board games, or sipping on freshly squeezed juice.
I have put together this complete guide to Mango Viewpoint Koh Tao including how to get there and what to expect when you arrive.
QUICK ANSWERS – MANGO VIEWPOINT KOH TAO
Let’s start this guide with the essentials you should know, from Mango Viewpoint’s location to getting there and more.
WHERE IS MANGO VIEWPOINT IN KOH TAO?
Mango Viewpoint Koh Tao is located high in the hills in the north of the island. It’s a short 15-minute drive from Sairee Beach, the main tourist hub on the island.

HOW TO GET TO MANGO VIEWPOINT KOH TAO?
The best way to get around Koh Tao is to rent a scooter for about 250 Baht per day to explore all four corners of the island.
There are dozens of scooter rental stores in and around town and most accommodations offer scooter rentals too.
Mango Viewpoint has decent road access, but it is very steep and you may end up having to walk up the hill if your scooter doesn’t make it.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT MANGO VIEWPOINT KOH TAO
When you arrive at Mango Viewpoint Koh Tao, there is an entrance fee of 100 Baht, which is a higher cost than other Koh Tao viewpoints but the view is definitely worth the money in my opinion!
Incredible panoramic views welcome you upon arrival, and a small restaurant and juice bar resides on the hillside.
My friends and I made ourselves comfortable on the large cushions while we took in the awe-inspiring views of Koh Tao’s western coastline and the beautiful Sairee Beach.

BEST TOUR IN KOH TAO
The best tour you can join is the Snorkeling Day Trip Ko Tao & Ko Nang Yuan with Meals!
It includes hotel transfers, lunch and dinner, soft drinks, all entrance fees, and a fun guide!
Apart from enjoying the incredible views at Koh Tao Mango Viewpoint, there is a restaurant that serves up some pretty good pad thai and fresh fruit juices.
To pass the time while waiting for your food, choose one of the many board games available and challenge your friends to a match!
If board games aren’t your thing, why not mellow out in one of the hammocks and soak in the surrounding serenity?!
