Doot Beach Siargao is one of the best chill spots on the island. Doot Beach is one of the least touristy attractions in Siargao, surprisingly only a 10-minute drive from General Luna.
WHERE IS DOOT BEACH?
Doot Beach Siargao is a 10-minute drive southeast of General Luna.
Follow the coastal road right to the end and this is where Doot Beach can be found.

HOW TO GET HERE
One of the most common ways to get here is on a scooter. The cost for a scooter rental in General Luna is around 300-400 pesos per day, or for a monthly rental, you’ll get a cheaper rate of around 200-300 pesos per day.
Most accommodations in General Luna will be more than happy to help you to organize a scooter rental for your time spent on Siargao Island.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT DOOT BEACH SIARGAO
The drive down to Doot Beach Siargao is a scenic journey down a dirt trail lined with coconut palm trees. When you reach the end of the road you’ll see a sign reading ‘private property.’
We visited with a local Filipino who knew the property owner and said it was completely fine to access the beach as long as we took all of our rubbish away with us and left only footprints.
Palm trees are dotted around the beach perfect for climbing to the top for a fresh coconut, small boats lay in the bay, relaxing and secluded swimming areas can be found as well as an impressive mangrove forest across the freshwater river.
When we visited, there happened to be a local Filipino taking a dip in the ocean next to his boat. We asked him if he would kindly take us over to the small canals between the mangroves and he happily did so. For a 30-minute boat ride, he only asked for 150 pesos.
This beach is best visited on high tide and it is also an incredible location to watch the sunset.
